Making a salad with squid and crab:

Step 1: prepare the squid.


Squid carcasses first need to be gutted, just by carefully pulling on the head, after which a colorless plate should be removed. To quickly remove the skin from the carcasses, you need to pour them with boiling water, and then immediately with ice water, after which the skin is peeled off very easily, it simply remains to be removed like a film.
Boil slightly salted water in a saucepan and boil peeled squids in it. But cook seafood no longer 3 minutesIf you digest them, you can get rubber, not a delicacy.
After cooking, cool the carcasses and cut them into small half rings or even smaller.

Step 2: prepare crab meat.


Crab meat in stores is usually sold immediately boiled, so you need to re-heat it. Just slice the ingredient into small pieces.
If, nevertheless, you need to boil the crab first, then for this you just need to dip it in boiling water and cook for 10-15 minutes. The exact cooking time is determined based on the weight of the seafood, so for every 100 grams 1-2 minutes are calculated.

Step 3: prepare the eggs.


Chicken eggs should also be boiled. To do this, dip them in a pan, completely fill with water and put on fire. As soon as the liquid boils, reduce the gas and cook more 10-12 minutes. Hard-boiled eggs are peeled. Next, we divide each into halves and separate the proteins from the yolks. Proteins should be crushed using a grater, and separately grind the yolks with a fork.

Step 4: prepare lettuce leaves.


We wash lettuce leaves with running water, carefully cleaning off the ground and grains of sand from them. Then shake off the component from moisture. Important: choose the most juicy, large and beautiful leaves, without external damage and defects.

Step 5: prepare a salad with squid and crab.


In a salad bowl, mix egg whites, crab meat and squid, and also add 12 whole caviar there that you prepared for this salad. Season with mayonnaise, salt, pepper, if necessary, and mix well. Try if there are enough spices, if everything is in order, then it is time to beautifully shape your dish before serving. To do this, put two lettuce leaves on the bottom of a flat plate so that they are opposite each other. Put a salad on them so that it forms a small hill. Pour the grated egg yolks as a frame, and lay the remaining caviar on top, evenly distributing it over the entire area.

Step 6: serve the squid and crab salad.


Serve the squid and crab salad on the table between main courses. I usually put it in the center of the table, as it is my crown salad. Enjoy the reaction of guests and compliments to your culinary abilities. And be sure to try the resulting dish yourself.

Recipe Tips:

- Instead of natural crab meat, you can use crab sticks, of course, in this case, the salad will lose a little taste.

- You can decorate and serve the salad in any other way. You can, for example, stuff their eggs and offer this dish as a snack, but in this case, do not add yolks to the salad.

- If desired and possible, you can also decorate the salad with black caviar, laying it beautifully on top of the dish.

- Lettuce can be replaced with Chinese cabbage, in this case they serve only as a decoration, so there is no fundamental difference.
