Ingredients for Celery Salad with Apple and Nuts

Making celery salad with apple and nuts:
Step 1: Prepare the celery stalks.
Rinse celery stalks thoroughly under warm, almost hot, running water. After you surely wipe them with paper towels, getting rid of wet drops. Place the pure celery on a chopping board and chop it with very thin, almost transparent slices, as shown in the photo. Important: Do not overdo it, you don’t need to chop the stalks very finely, they still need to be clearly visible and felt in the salad.
Step 2: Prepare the apples.
Rinse apples with warm, almost hot water, wiping their skin with a brush or sponge to remove all the dirt, because we will not peel the fruit, otherwise we will lose a lot of valuable vitamins and minerals contained in it.
Divide the washed apples into quarters and cut out their dense kernels with seeds, and also do not forget to remove the tail. Cut the remaining pulp into cubes, slices or straws, depending on your desire.
Step 3: Prepare the lemon.
Of the whole lemon for this salad, we will use only juice. But you still need to rinse the fruit before proceeding. Do not forget to dry it with towels. Then cut the lemon into two halves and squeeze the juice from each, carefully making sure that seeds and pulp of the fruit do not get into it.
Step 4: Prepare the raisins.
It is best to scald raisins with boiling water or soak before adding it to the salad. This will allow the ingredient to be cleaned of dirt adhering to it during transportation and packing. After washing, put the raisins on paper towels and dry.
Step 5: Mix celery salad with apple and nuts.
First, put in a salad bowl slices of apple and celery, pour lemon juice and mix. Now add the washed raisins and peeled walnuts. By the way, nuts can be chopped a little if desired in a blender or with the help of a regular pusher, pestle. Season the salad with sour cream and add salt and black ground pepper to taste and desire. Thoroughly mix the salad and send it to the refrigerator so that it is a little infused, after which the finished dish can be served on the table.
Step 6: Serve celery salad with apple and nuts.
Serve celery with apple and nuts in a slightly chilled form. You can present it in one large salad bowl or arrange it in portions. Garnish the dish with a couple of green leaves or thin slices of lemon, at your discretion, because the main thing in this salad is its interesting taste and amazing lightness that it leaves behind.
