Ingredients for cooking fish cakes with cottage cheese

Cooking fish cakes with cottage cheese:

Step 1: prepare the bread.

I am preparing minced fish for cutlets using a blender. To do this, I simply put all the ingredients, that is: fish fillet, soaked pieces of bread, greens, cottage cheese, an egg; into the bowl of the device and grind. Then I put it in a deep plate, add the fried onions, salt, pepper and spices for fish. Then I knead the mass with my hands.
If you are going to cook the forcemeat with a meat grinder, then pass through it only the fish fillet along with the bread crumb. Add the rest after and mix manually.

Step 6: form the fish cakes.


From the prepared minced fish, make small cutlets. So that the mass does not stick to your hands, slightly moisten them with cold water. Roll the minced meat into a ball, and then flatten it, giving your products the usual, classic shape.
Formed blanks, roll in a small amount of wheat flour.

Step 7: fry fish cakes.


Fry fish cakes in a pan with a small amount of vegetable oil. First cook them over medium heat until golden brown on both sides. Then pour a little water, reduce the heat and cover. Simmer until fully cooked for 7-10 minutes.
You can still put all the fish cakes on a heat-resistant baking sheet, greased with vegetable oil, and send in a preheated to 150-170 degrees oven on 25-30 minutes.

Step 8: serve the fish cakes.
