Cooking a salad with pasta bows:
Step 1: Cooking Pasta
In general, not only bows, but also any other pasta of a small size are suitable for preparing this salad. And, no matter what you choose, first you need to cook the paste. To do this, throw it into a pot with plenty of boiling water, and then cook until almost done. Why almost? Because pasta in the process of cooking is still saturated with dressing, so they must be left a little undercooked. And to guess with time, just cook them on 30-40 seconds less than indicated on the packaging of your pasta.
While cooking pasta, do some other cooking.
Step 2: prepare the cheeses.
Crush feta cheese, you can mash it with a fork, but it is most convenient to grate it on a coarse grater.
Parmesan cheese is best grated, or bought immediately chopped.
Step 3: prepare the peppers.
Peppers, rinse thoroughly inside and out, dry. Then cut the vegetables into thin strips, and then completely into small cubes.
Pickled peppers are the easiest to add to the salad whole and intact, and you can cut them into thin strips. I will leave it up to you.
Step 4: prepare the olives.
Olives and olives must be removed from the seeds, and then cut into halves and quarters. If you immediately purchased this hollow core ingredient, you can leave them whole.
Step 5: preparing a gas station.
Rinse the lemons, halve them and squeeze the juice out of each one, preventing the pulp or seeds from the fruit from falling into it.
Peel the garlic clove and chop using a special press.
Mix lemon juice, olive oil, garlic in a bowl, add chopped oregano, salt and pepper to taste there. Thoroughly mix all the ingredients for seasoning.
Step 6: mix the salad with bow pasta.
Once the pasta is cooked, discard them in a colander, then transfer them to a deep plate, adding peppers, cheeses, olives and watering everything with dressing. Stir the salad so that all its ingredients and spices are evenly distributed. Once you are convinced that your dish is sufficiently salted and everything else in it, to your taste, is enough, serve it to the table.
Step 7: Serve the Bow Pasta Salad.
Salad with bow pasta, prepared according to this recipe, can be served both hot and chilled. Thanks to the rich palette of flavors and composition, the dish is hearty and self-sufficient.
Enjoy your meal!
- For a greater external effect, use multi-colored rather than plain pasta.
- Sometimes ripe fresh tomatoes are added to this salad.
- It is best to use freshly squeezed lemon juice for dressing, as the purchase may turn out to be too sour and spoil the finished salad.
