Cooking salmon skewers:
Step 1: Prepare the salmon filet. In a large plate, mix olive oil, oregano, salt, pepper, chili pepper and sesame seeds. Then put salmon fillet pieces, peeled and cut into small cubes, into this mixture. Stir in your hands and leave to stand in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (but for a long time pickling red fish is useless). Be sure to cover the plate with the fish marinating in it with something (a lid, a film, a foil).
Step 2: String the skewers on skewers.
While the salmon is pickling, cut the washed lemon into thin slices, simultaneously cleaning it from the seeds.
Moisten wooden skewers with water, and then put on them slices of salmon (piercing the fish across the fibers) and slices of lemon, alternating fish and fruit with each other. With the remaining marinade in the plate, grease the kebabs on all sides.
Step 3: Fry salmon skewers.
Salmon skewers are grilled on the grill or grill (and not on an open fire, but on charcoal). Literally enough 5-8 minutes. Red fish cooks quite quickly, so often rotate the kebabs so that the appetizing crispy crust evenly covers pieces of salmon on all sides.
As soon as the fish slices are baked, remove the kebab and serve it on the table until it cools.
Step 4: Serve salmon skewers.
Serve salmon kebab immediately after cooking with soy sauce and a side dish of grilled or stewed vegetables. Very tasty and summertime easy and refreshing. Great picnic idea.
Enjoy your meal!
- If you serve salmon skewers for alcohol, then choose dry or semi-dry white wine, it goes well with fish.
